UCubed Endorses 10.2.10 Jobs March on Washington, DC

July 21, 2010 in Homepage, Recent News by Joyce Sheppard

Union of the Unemployed endorses the One Nation Working Together march on Washington on October 2, 2010.

A coalition of more than 170 leading civil rights, labor, youth, faith and social justice organizations are preparing the massive march. Their message: Put America back to work. Put America back together.

“The timing of this march could not be better – one month before the midterm elections,” said UCubed Acting Executive Director Rick Sloan. “UCubed leaders and jobs activists should make the most of this opportunity.”

Organizers are requesting volunteers to help mobilize participants in their area. A list of requested positions is available here.
