Join UCubed for Pre-Event on 10.2.10
Ur Union of the Unemployed (UCubed) invites the unemployed, underemployed, IAM members and other jobs activists attending the One Nation Working Together March on Washington to join us at a pre-event on 10.2.10.
Speakers from an array of unions and groups advocating for the jobless will participate in this sanctioned pre-event. JOBS Now! signs, t-shirts and solidarity streamers will be distributed at this rallying point for the unemployed and other jobs activists attending the March.
The Pre-March Event will begin at 9:00 am near the RFK Stadium Main Gate, located at 2400 E. Capitol St., NE Washington, DC 20001. Buses attending the One Nation March will be unloading and parking at RFK Stadium, allowing marchers to take part in the Pre-March Event before boarding the Stadium-Armory Metro (Orange/Blue lines) to the National Mall.

As usual…we have been forgotten. No buses from this area to the march.
It’s a .44 miles walk to the Stadium Armory Metro Station and $1.60 to the Smithsonian Metro Station. This may be the best option with a couple thousand buses parking at RFK, etc. not to mention normal and other traffic for the events going on that day.
