Afraid of the protesters he would draw for his plan to slash the social safety net in order to make the rich richer, this month Rep. Paul Ryan cancelled public town halls in favor of events requiring paid tickets. In response, unemployed constituents in Ryan’s district are asking for face-to-face meetings by conducting sit-ins at [...]

At his first White House briefing after House passage of the debt-reduction plan, Press Secretary Jay Carney hailed it as a “victory for the American people.”
He was only half right. It’s a victory, all right. But not for the American people. It’s a victory only for the least intelligent, least well-informed, [...] -

Hi Kiley,
I started one cube in my area, and soon had more than 6 requests to join – so I started a few new cubes and asked people to join the one closest to their actual location. Now a few people from the original cube have said they’d be happy to move, and have joined new cubes – do they have to ”leave” the old cube, or can I just ”ban/kick” them without any negative repercussions? Does that feature just remove them from the cube, or do something altogether different, like block them from the site? -
