The only thing you can do at this point is vote out all the politicians who’ve been
bought and paid for. It’s not hard to tell who owns their soul if you do a little research.

lots of talk on the morning news shows this a.m. Reps vs. Dems – up coming election etc. etc. etc. Repubs say America wants the Dems out and the old government back (find that hard to believe).
To me the Dems have always been for the people – to me they were always the lesser of two evils. I think that what we need to do now is focus on all the Dem. senators on the importance of Tier V or additional weeks. We need to let Them know what we are thinking and how adamant we are that they grow some big ones and start shaking things up in Congress. We have to get it across to them that in order to win in November, they need to start fighting harder for the unemployed. Here is the letter I faxed to Reid, Pelosi, Obama, Whitehouse, Durbin and Sherrodd Brown. We have to stress that they will have the Dems backs come November.
Let the Republicans make fools of themselves by campaigning on repealing health care, financial reform and whatever bills have helped the American people.
Let them dig their own graves. As I previously wrote, the Dems are the lesser of two evils.
Congress needs to vote and pass the bill to extend unemployment benefit deadlines. This is imperative to the American unemployed.
Democrats need to fight to retain their seats their seats in this upcoming November election. It is extremely important that the Republicans do not have the opportunity to once again bring this country to ruin. The Democrats need to exhibit some strong-arm maneuvering before then.
The unemployed need a strong-will, fearless democrat to pen a bill to create a Tier V or to add additional weeks of benefits to help the 4 million+ unemployed exhaustees in this country. NOW is the time to show the country that the Democrats are FOR the people, and that they will be fearless and determined to help those that need help. NOW is the time to give another lifeline. NOW is NOT the time to back down and say it will be too much of a fight. NOW is the time for job creation. I would much rather be employed, but until there are enough jobs for everyone, we need a life-line. We need some old fashion whooping and hollering from the Democrats to show the Republicans that they have no fear, only dedication for the people of this great country.
Then we need some old fashion, butt kicking, fist shaking, foot stomping, no fooling around debates to get this passed. We need the fierceness of Teddy Kennedy (God bless his soul) to light the fire in Congress and reveal just who the Republicans are and what they stand for. Not the people, that’s for sure.
If this gets done, you will have the voters behind you every step of the way. The unemployed, their friends, family and neighbors will be behind you 100% come November. If nothing is done, their is a very strong possibility that come November, it will be a Republican majority in Congress.
And heaven help us all if that happens.

Here’s an Update we’ve all been waiting for.
Please feel free to post this on any forum or use it in your next fax or email to your congressperson.RE: New proposed amendments to H.R. 4213 released May 20, 2010.

http://finance.senate.gov/legislation/details/?id=1c237e70-5056-a032-52e9-ef5f959b7a76Dear 111th Congress of the United States of America,
Please tell me why the 111th Congress of the United States of America continues to treat people who lost their job through no fault of their own from May of 2006 thru May of 2009 unfavorably, compared to others who lost their jobs after some subsequent date, like some line drawn in the sand. Those who lost their jobs more recently than us still have savings, assets and a home to live in. Most of us don’t. Why are they more privileged?
I am of course referring to the total lack of additional weeks of EUC/EB benefits for people who have exhausted all EUC and EB benefits, And, the Enactment Date of an individuals right to defer new benefit years as proposed by the AMENDMENTS TO THE SENATE AMENDMENT TO H.R. 4213 Sec. 502. Coordination of emergency unemployment compensation with regular compensation.
Why do you insist on treating us like we have some kind of plague or desease which will destroy this nation. YOU destroyed this nation along with our livelihoods. We’re NOT going away.
If you’re doing it to keep us from being counted in your monthly unemployment rate forget it. You don’t fool anyone anymore. Everyone I know, employed and unemployed persons alike, know how deceitful the numbers really are. Depriving us of benefits just so we fall of the rolls of being included in the unemployment rate is so knowledgeable to the whole country it only serves to show how desperate you are to make reality disappear. When in fact the only reality will be when you loose your job the next time you’re up for re-election.
So go ahead, keep ignoring the 800 pound gorilla in the room. You won’t be forgotten!!!
No amount of political contributions from corporate america or wall street or bank in America or health insurance company will save your political career. So kiss it goodbye. You’re finished.
