  • Sorry for the misspellings–and the lack of clarity Glad zipper sandwich bags are imported.

  • Imports that you might not be aware of: Johnson ans Johnson ”Band-aids”. Buy your bandages from 3M instead. Glad zipper sandwich bags–shop for sandwich bags made in the USA. Jello gelatin is even imported. Write these companies. For gosh sake–atleast buy Amereican when you are purchasing goaceries.

  • And for you ladies who are probably unemployed (if you’re reading this) but may still need a quality brazier try Decent Exposures (internet) a US manufacturer of quality cotton bras–Awesome!!

  • From another U-cuber in response to”Americans don’t want to work”: Do you really want to work someplace where you’re breathing in toxic crap making something that no one needs just so some [...]

If that someplace is US manufacturing, the answer has to be Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

The US is an industrial nation that has lost the vast majority of its industry–our economy is sick, dying.

Americans need to understand that made in the USA really does matter; made in the USA is critical.

If we hope to have a functional economy we must rebuild our industry.

The base of an industrial economy are those that provide the necessities, food, clothing, shelter, transportation, and energy, etc. The fast and efficient production of these necessities supports those who provide services and produce non-necessities. Resources unable to be produced within the native economy are acquired via trade with outside economies. All persons in an industrial economy are interdependent.

An economy cannot expect to survive without producing, supporting the needs of its people. Doctors, teachers, salespeople, computer programmers, etc.. are the second line in the economy–they are dependent on production. Unfortunately, a simple scan of the “made in ” labels at Walmart reveals that we are no longer producing. Our economy is dysfunctional.

Only we, the people, the consumers of America can fix our economy. We have the power to rebuild our economy– we just have to organize and use that power. We need to stop buying the imports. Send post cards and emails to companies telling them we want products made int he USA. Start with tires–buy Goodyear write other companies Firestone etc tell them you want made in USA.. Write Goodyear and Thank for made in USA. Buy Newberry mittens and gloves. Texas, Pointer, or All American jeans. Rada(affordable) or Cutco cutlery.Fuller brushes.Etc Buy some Craftsman hand tools(request more and US made power tools)—Men and ladies who need office apparel contact Riverside manufacturing—(recently started moving production overseas) tell them you want workwear/office wear made in the USA, Buy Platinum Sportswear tee shirts and pocket tees. Request more styles.

Today take an index card or a postcard (one that is made in the USA) to your local walmart(jcpenney etc… ) manager telling Walmart that you want products made in the USA.

The usual American complaint ”I can’t find products made in the USA”— Take action–urge your congress people to use some of our tax dollars immediately to assemble a website with links to every company to produces products in the USA–further, have the government encourage or help the companies sell directly to the public from a website. Urge companies that require office apparel to change their standard– require office apparel or made in the USA apparel. Until clothing made in the USA can become a standard, let workers show up in american jeans and tee shirts if that is all they can find.

Wake up! Get organized! Spread the word! Only we, the people, the consumers of America can rebuild our country, and if we hope to have a country, we had better spread the word before it is too late.
